About the Role

Square1 is seeking a skilled Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team, working on exciting projects with major clients across various industries, all focused on implementing payment solutions. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in solution architecture to provide technical guidance and support in the payments space. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to design, integrate, and scale technical solutions that meet the unique needs of each project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions: Engage with partners to design and implement effective payment solutions.
• Create technical business plans: Work with partners to develop comprehensive business plans, identifying new service offerings and bringing them to market.
• Manage technical partnerships: Serve as a trusted advisor, addressing complex challenges and ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Develop scalable solutions: Create architecture guides, demos, and best practices for partner integrations.
• Collaborate during the sales process: Work closely with internal teams to ensure mutual success and alignment with technical goals.
• Build relationships: Establish deep connections across teams, becoming a go-to technical resource.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in architecture (application, technical, systems, integration), technical consulting, or similar roles.
• Technical skills:
• • Broad understanding of technology stacks with hands-on experience in modern web application architecture.
  • Familiarity with CRMs, ERPs, or eCommerce solutions (preferred).
  • Experience with API integrations and third-party systems.
  • Familiarity with payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, PayPal) is a strong advantage.
• Communication: Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Project management: Effective in managing projects and stakeholders across geographically distributed teams.
• Language: Fluent in French, with the ability to work comfortably with partners in France.
